I slam open the doors to the bars and step in. I am NOT in a good mood. The bartender looks excited and he asks me what I would like.
"White Russian. No ice. Hold the Kahlua. Hold the Vodka." I smile slightly as he wanders off. This place always makes me feel better after being stressed for so long. About 30 seconds later he comes back.
"Pure cream, straight up." he says handing me the glass. I take a sniff. It's cream alright. Just the way I like it. I gulp it down then put down the glass. I glance around the room looking for something to do next...

I Swing The Doors Open And They Slam Into The Wall. For A Second The Bar Goes Silent. I Walk In And Look To My Left And See Some Men Playing Blackjack. On My Right, A Man Was Asleep On The Couch. I Walk Over To The Bartender And take A Seat Next To A Woman With A Cat Tail, Long Nails And Long Hair. "What Do You Want" The Bartender Asks. "Get me A Beer" I Reply And Look Around. I Sniff The Air And Smell Someone Familiar. The Bartender Returns With A Mug Full Of Beer And Slides It On The Table Towards Me. I Lift The Mug Of Beer And Skull It Down. Then I Look Around And Wait For Something To Happen.......

I glance to my left. A guy ordering a beer. I grin to myself and smile at the guy. I'm gonna annoy him. I stare down at my empty glass and flick my tail towards him. It brushes against his face, then I do it again and again and again. I try and hide my smirk but I have to smile. I bite my lip, trying to hold my laughter, and settle my tail on his lap.

As The Girl Brushes Her Tail Against My Face I Moan. I Look At Her And Get Ready To Pull Her Tail Off But Then She Puts It On My Lap. I Put It Off And Grab Hold Of The Mug And Clutch It In My Hands Tight. I Study The Glass, Wiping My Fingers Across The Top........

Henry bond came into the bar bringing the chill of the night in with him to. He closed the doors and sat down at the bar. He didnt smile he didnt even look at the other sitting there. He wore a long brown coat and his collar was pulled up to cover his face and the hat on his head pulled low

With a kick, the bar doors open and heads snap back at me. I sigh and look at everyone, staring at me with wide eyes then going back to talking, some girls throw glares at me, I smirk.
So nice. I think, glaring back at them. Then looking around.
You may say that. a voice murmurs.
Shut up.
I was mad, actually I was furious, man can't a girl just drink a simply cup of vodka?! Or beer? I snarl to myself.

A gentle wind blew the bar doors open as I joined the scene panning out inside. The bar was full of the comfortable old patrons dominating the prime positions and a few obvious young newcomers standing awkwardly in crowded corners. There were only a handful of people who didn't fit this category scattered around the bar. I recognised Logan and Feral instantly but I was not here to socialise, besides they appeared to be busy. I didn't approach the bar but made directly to an empty table from which to wait a while and observe what’s about to happen.

Sabrina slowly opened the door to the bar, saying nothing to anyone. She scented the air. All familiar scents of liquior and such. What else would one expect from a bar? She scented mutants, but it mattered not. They were all around New York of course. She slowly made her way over to the bar, taking a seat near the end, away from the girl with the cat tail and the one smelling of cigars and all, hands shoved in her pockets, as if trying to hide them. She glanced up at the bartender.
" Get me a beer." she muttered, the bartender nodding and reutrning momentarily with a bottle. Good, she liked it better that way. She cast a nervous glance around with purple eyes before lashing a hand out to the bottle quickly, taking a sip and her hand returning quickly returning to her pocket.... What was the point? Some other female over there had a tail, and she was trying to hide her claws?! She set her hands on the bar, studying her own claws as her scences were alert, though still scenting the air somehwat, the scent of her own beer treaveling to her nose.

Ludi sits in the bar sipping on his soda( a diet soda of all things). Shape shifted into the image of a well known football player. Chisleed body covered in an underarmor shirt and tight black jeans. Peering around the room from behind his sunglasses wondering why people kept kicking open or slamming open the door of the bar as they came in. takes particular notice of three beauties in the room, one with a long tail, one with claws adn fangs and the third with a snarl on her face as she down her beer. Wondderign if any of them sense he istruly a mutant or if they beleive he is really the famous football player he has morphed into.

Sabrina scented the air yet again, another mutant's scent coming to her nose as she nonchalantly tapped hr claws on the bar, casting a slight glance behind her. Football player? No. Defienetaly not. Ugh those shifters. She snorted lightly and went back to her beer, the scent lingering to her for the moment as she brought the cold beer to her lips again with a small sigh. New York was pretty boring. Ah well. Boring = peaceful. Which, she was indeed glad it was peaceful for now.

I had smiled when Logan had entered the bar, since he was usually good for some entertainment with the other patrons, shuffling the deck of cards in my hand. It hadn't been a surprise to see him enter. Nor was I terribly surprised to see the patrons that followed him but none of the mattered right now. I had a table full of suckers and was racking in the cash. With a bit of a chuckle I dealt the cards again

"Now come gents this could be your lucky hand"

The cards were dealt in a flash and I smiled already aware of where the cards sat, already having the Ace and King of spades just waiting for the bets to be placed.

Sabrina couldn't help but let a small smirk creep across her currently shadows face. She let out the slightest of quiet chuckles as she listened to what was going on behind her. Gambling. It was funny really, obviously the people playing with the cajun who was dealing the cards stood no chance. They hadn't the first 5 or so times now had they? He was unbeatable, obviously. She finally decided to turn around on her bar stool and watch, leaning back and placing her elbows on the bar as she did, eyeing all of them. She could see the look in the cajun's eye. Red and chaotic looking. Quite an interesting looking man, she had to admit. This would be fun to watch. Bunch of over-confident suckers oblivious to the obvious. Facing off against someone who they could never beat no matter how hard they tried. Fools.

"Too bad mes amis this just wasn't your night it seems"

I smile as I pull the cash across the table, half of the men leaving fully unaware of the slight of hand that had been pulled on them. As I shuffle the cards again I gaze across the bar noticing the young looking woman watching the table.

"How about you chere? Think tonight lady luck is with you? Then how about you pull up a chair and play a few rounds with little ol' Remy" A smile danced across my face more at the prospect of having some fun then anything else

Sabrina chuckled and shook her head slowly.
"'Fraid not." she said, looking him over with purple eyes.
"I'm afraid I truthfully don't know how to play cards." she admitted, her own smirk across her face. She had to admit, the offer was tempting but.... She'd rather not make herself look like a fool right now. Besides, of course there was something unormal about the charming loisiana man shuffling the cards. There was no way she could win even if she /did/ know how to play. A claw tapped slowly against the wooden bar-frame.
"And I'd rather not lose what little amount of money i /am/ carrying, dear." she said.

I smile a bit wider knowing this girl had to have a tougher mind then most to resist the Hypnotic Charm I was able to use with my powers.

"Now who said we had to play for money?" The tone a bit casual as I flip the cards in my hands "It just a card game nothin but a lil bit o fun"

Sabrina rolled her eyes rather playfully. There was something even weirder about him.... Somehow she managed to be resisting whatever the hell he was trying to do but.... He was just overly charming. She avoided his eyes from then on. She tried to anyway, they were hynotically, chaotic red. Her eyes scanned over the cards as she flipped them over and over in his hands.
"Well, still leaves the fact I don't know how to play." It seemed an almost daring action to play cards with him, and she was still trying hard to resist the offer. Sabrina reaally, didn't wanna let this man get to her.

"Well that is an easily solved problem chere. Ol' Remy can show you da basics"

With a fluid motion sliding a card out of the sleeve of my duster jacket flicking it across the room to the girl still smiling since at least someone in the bar was being of some entertainment. As I cut the deck and shuffle them again the card in the woman's hand glows then burns leaving the figure of the queen of hearts intact.

Sabrina smiled, she knew that was coming. She watched the card land fluently in the palm of her now opened, clawed, hand and watched it glow for a moment before it suddenly burst into small flame and burned, leaving only the queen.
"Nice trick." she laughed and carefully pocketed the charred card. She pushed herself off the bar-stool and went over to the table, sliding a chair out and sitting it, scooting it back and placing her clawed hands on the table. She took in his scent more carefully for a moment.
"Alright then. Teach me."

(I shall bbl most likely in about an hour or two or so. Sorry.)

(No worries just glad to see someone else on here thought I had missed all the fun haha)

Gambit smirked again slowly explaining the rules of the game before dealing the cards.

"Really cards all comes down to luck but for some of us we prefer to make our own you see"

With a trained and skilled hand switching out a card on the table with a card in my sleeve

"After all as long as you win that's all that matters right? And you seem like the type that knows about doing things to survive"

His tone was casually not trying to imply anything just offering the feeling he got from her. He didn't have any powers to read people's minds or anything like that just a skill he picked up from the streets. A skill he had honed and learned to use well

(X3 Me too. I came on and I'm like Damn T.T Yet another inactive site. So, I just was patient and like two more people showed up ^.^ Back, obviously.)

Sabrina observed the tone in his voice carefully, pushing away the slight unease that had begun to gnaw at her. That, among many things. She went over the game repeatedly in her mind, not sure she completely got the game and all but, she'd give it a shot.
"Well, winning isn't always the only thing that matters. And for someone like me, surviving is just instinct." she smirked to herself, staring down at her cars, trying to at least pretend like she knew what she was doing. She hadn't noticed his expert hand switching a card out from the table into his clothing, to focused on her thoughts.

(yea its really hard to find sites that are getting going and are strong let alone active sites to being with haha well here is hoping people return or more come)

"Well to some the cards are life" Gambit said with a slight seriousness to his tone "The dealing of a card could be what wins it all or what loses it all for you and some gambles you can't afford to lose"

As he dealt the cards again he thought back to the many gambles he had taken in life, those from before his time with the X-men, to all the missions with them, and even those when he became a bit more "freelanced" in his work

"Now you should know ol' Remy has a rule that everyone has to follow at his table" He smiled a bit "and that's no one is to be a stranger. So tell me some about yourself"

(btw just read in the Gambit accent lol since I can't type exactly how he talks haha)

(lol s'fine Wink I will

And yeah it is -.- I look everywhere for a good Batman role play like this on free forum and can't find a single one! And when i did find one the moderator has to accept your accoutn and they won't bloody accept me.)

Sabrina listened carefully to him, looking down at the cards.
"Deep. I see what you mean though." she admitted quietly, still looking down at her cards, messing with them a bit. She smirked at his next comment and finally looked up at him.
"Well, a bits classified." she said to him playfully. That wasn't true really any more, but she liked to keep alot of herself secluded. It had been what she'd gotten used to over years.
"My name is Sabrina." she said simply as she directed her attention back downwards at the cards in her hands.
"I'm just another one of the many freaks of New York anymore." she chuckled.
"Much like half of these people in this here bar."

"Sabrina huh? A pretty name for a pretty girl" Gambit smiled he couldn't help but flirt it was part of his nature it was completely innocent of course just one of his many old habits that refused to die

"And true there to seem to be quite a bit of us up north, many more then where down in the bayous course times they are a changin' so there are more of us around. Though with that MRD about kind of surprised to find a bar like this one in these parts"

Sabrina couldn't help but roll her eyes again.
"Glad you think so." she said with a slight chuckle. She listened to him and nodded once in agreement. She hadn't seen much of the bayous and down south and all. She roamed mostly around New York, New Jersey and at times made her way back to Canada. Her face darkened slowly at the MRD's mention and she nodded grimly.
"Believe me, i'm just as surprised." she huffed in an annoyed way.

"Well me and you are among the lucky ones. Those who can pass for human on a daily basis. Or at least I can as long as i wear some sun glasses." Gambit laughed at the last part since his eyes had given him away more then once.

"There are many of us, a few I know personally, who are or were afraid to go out because they couldn't pass as human" Gambit sighed a little remembering those at the Xavier Institute.

"But it's getting late it probably is not wise for so many of us mutants to be in one spot when they begin their sweeps"

(haha we can't just hang out in a bar all the time got to get more going draw more roles in for people haha)
